About this course
Welcome to our 6-Week Intermediate Wheel course! This course is designed for students who have completed our Intro to the Wheel course or have previous pottery-making experience, and are looking to further develop their skills on the pottery wheel. Over the course of six weeks, our experienced instructor will guide you through more advanced pottery-making techniques such as throwing larger forms, creating more complex shapes, and exploring different styles and designs. Each session will build upon the previous one, allowing you to develop your skills and techniques in a supportive and creative environment. All materials and tools will be provided, including clay and glazes. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting dirty, and bringing an apron or smock to protect your clothing. Throughout the course, you will receive individual attention and instruction to ensure you are comfortable with the techniques being taught. Our instructor will also provide demonstrations and examples to inspire your creativity and encourage you to experiment with your pottery-making. At the end of the course, you will have the opportunity to select your favorite pieces to be fired and glazed by our team. These pieces will be available for pickup approximately two weeks after the final class. Whether you're looking to improve your skills, challenge yourself with new techniques, or simply continue your passion for pottery-making, our 6-Week Intermediate Wheel course is the perfect place to do it. We can't wait to see what you create as you progress through the course!
