One-Time Intro to the Wheel

Welcome to One-Time Intro to the Wheel! This class is perfect for beginners who have never tried working on a pottery wheel before. In this class, you will learn the basics of pottery making using a pottery wheel. We'll guide you through the process of centering the clay on the wheel, forming the clay into shapes, and creating functional pottery pieces. The class is designed to be a one-time session that lasts for two hours. During this time, you will receive individual attention and instruction to ensure you are comfortable with the techniques being taught. All materials and tools will be provided, including clay and glazes. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting dirty, and we will provide an apron or smock to protect your clothing. At the end of the class, you will have the opportunity to select your favorite piece to be fired and glazed by our team. This piece will be available for pickup approximately two weeks after the class. Whether you're looking for a new hobby, a fun date night idea, or simply a way to unwind and get creative, our One-Time Intro to the Wheel class is the perfect place to start your pottery journey.
