About this class

Welcome to One-Time Intro to Handbuilding! This class is perfect for those who are new to pottery or have some experience with the wheel and want to try a different technique. In this class, you will learn the basics of handbuilding, a pottery-making technique that involves creating shapes using your hands and basic tools. We will guide you through the process of creating functional pottery pieces. The class is designed to be a one-time session that lasts two hours. During this time, you will receive individual attention and instruction to ensure you are comfortable with the techniques being taught. All materials and tools will be provided, including clay and glazes. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting dirty and we will provide an apron or smock to protect your clothing. At the end of the class, you will have the opportunity to select your favorite piece to be fired and glazed by our team. This piece will be available for pickup approximately two weeks after the class. Whether you're looking to try something new or explore a different pottery-making technique, our One-Time Intro to Handbuilding class is the perfect place to get started. We can't wait to see what you create!
